We have been recycling construction and demolition waste since the inception of the company. Our aim is to try to avoid any waste going to landfill, where possible we want the material to be reused, recycled or recovered. We actively seek to reduce carbon emissions, water consumption and energy use across our operations and those within supply chains and partnerships. We have been a FORS Gold member for over 7 years who audit us on our environmental performance along with being ISO 14001 accredited
Health and Safety at the company is of the utmost importance and is considered in everything we do. Our commitment to health and Health and Safety is driven from the directors of the company as we all work to make sure all of our employees and customers go home safe every night.
Health and safety is always at the forefront of our minds when we are planning our work activities and when these activities are carried out. We provide briefings, which are provided in accordance with our consultation procedure which can be provided on request. Following these briefings, signature verification is obtained and installed within the relevant section of the Health and Safety File. Regular Toolbox Talks are carried out to refresh sections of the policy to employees along with bulletins included with pay slips and newsletters.
We have an operational safety manual which details our arrangements and responsibilities for health and safety from director level down to general operatives. We have a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to assist with these matters who works with senior management and they utilise the safety manual in all briefings with staff.
In addition, Quattro UK Ltd is certified as a safe contractor by Alcumus and we have FORS Gold accreditation status which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.
